United Steel supplies two types of switch bolts, regular square head heat treated bolts or thin head switch and clip bolts. Switch bolts can be furnished with cotter pin holes drilled near the end of the bolts. These bolts are manufactured to A.R.E.A. specifications and are heat treated to 110,000 PSI minimum tensile. Furnished with nuts and cotter pins upon request.

United Steel manufactures two types of frog bolts, used in frog and crossing. Square head and button head oval neck, or elliptical neck bolts. All bolts are manufactured as full body bolts with cut threads in grades 5 and 8 per A.R.E.A. specifications. Available in 3/8″ through 1 1/2″ diameter. Furnished with heavy square nuts upon request.
